Did I Make A Wrong Decision For Not Going To Singapore To Work As A Malaysian?

Today is another day for me to self reflection. In fact, I was on my research on how to create good quality content that will be use in future. Frankly speaking, I questioned myself "Did I make a wrong decision for not going to Singapore to work as a Malaysian" today after I received some feedback from online friend sharing. Honestly, I wish to go Singapore to work at least once in my life time to understand more about their working culture and others stuff. However, I don't have the opportunity or know any friends there. Apparently a friend of mine asked me to go there to stay for two month to search for the local SG job but I had refused back in 2014 before going back to Malaysia. Well, my friend worked as in the data entry field in SG and I did the same in MY but being paid differently although there is no use to explain why I work in that field back in 2014. To the "people" who know me, I'm don't mean to "snatch rice" (争饭) with you as we're same from not wealthy background.

No doubt it is quite tempting to see the current SGD currency as $1 = RM2.78+ according to XE website as below.
Over time, I realized it is quite hard to share knowledge because everyone have their own problem. I'm just a guy who wish to share the value behind of having RM100,000+ worth of education especially for a business study graduates in E-Commerce and Marketing field. I believe we don't have much choice to choose when compared to graduates on IT / Programming / Engineering /  Accounting / Mechanical engineering and others where most of us will end up doing sales job which seems like no different with people who came out to work as sales person at the age of 18. Hence, this is one of the reason about having anxiety as my age grows older where it is more hard to find job if you did not possessed any professional skills.

Anyways, I would like to share a video that is quite touching to me in someway as below. (Sorry it is in Malay language)
I'm not trying to create any issue and just want to share some of my feeling as a Malaysian. Somehow I just felt that there will be people saying about us no matter what job you're working as I saw a criticism stated that "Singapore wants smart people and Malaysia wants not so smart people to work where the contrast is significant" in the workforce. In short, I felt it is an insult saying that people who didn't left Malaysia to work at foreign country is consider not smart? Didn't they know that they're once born in country after they get PR in Singapore? If you see closely, our country map is very close to SG as below.
Over time, I did admit that I'm sad for Malaysia for not having a strong currency. Imagine that if RM1 is equal to £1, I don't think I need to have burden to pay back UK loan.

During the night, I just have some simple noodle prepared by mother and I'm grateful about it although I have the same meal for lunch as below.
Anyways, I'm still finding solution to overcome my problem especially life after graduation is all about earning money. No doubt I have build a "contingency plan" for myself in the SAP field if I didn't do well in my main field. Furthermore, I admitted that my current salary is very low as I still haven reach $1,000 USD earning in Malaysia as I remember Ms Chris asked me "why you so cheap one" in term of my income. Somehow I try to find the source of problem and hope can solve one problem. After reading the Homejoy closing down news, I guess not every business can apply the same concept like Uber or AirBnB. I believe we need to find the reason behind why people need use their service.

First of all, car and property price is consider quite expensive for some people like me, so this would be the reason why people will Uber / AirBnB to cut cost because it is one of the necessity to have transport and place to stay. So far I just can think of a 3 way to earn extra income as below.
_________________________________________
1) Become a part time Uber driver. (Feel free to use my uberfood88 code if you register)
As you can see the part time income shared by online friend, you can earn up to RM2,500 per month extra. A friend of mine shared that he earned RM4,000+ part time but work from almost everyday after work 6pm to 9pm, full day on weekend.

2) Become a part time Forex trader.
Based on my experience, I had lost all money to eToro and other platform back in 2010 as you can see my message above. In fact, the deducted all my remaining balance in that account for being inactive and asked me top up with special promotion code "rts4" to get extra 40% bonus. (Can you imagine this kind of feeling like being cheated?)

3) Become a part time Blogger to write review/sponsored post.
As for now, I try to write some international review to get some extra income although it is very little as stated above. Hopefully can do some UK review as I had activated back my Barclay's card. Besides, I try to create value for other blogger to earn some oversea income by sharing the contact with them although I faced criticism for spoiling the market in someway.
_________________________________________
In conclusion, it is like becoming a Uber + Forex + Blogger job. So basically there's only 3 way for me to earn extra part time income after having a full time job. If you found any other way to earn extra income, feel free to share with me too.
=)
