During the afternoon, I received a call from the salesman for the Myvi car that I had paid RM800 previously. He told me that there is a good news and bad news. I wanted to hear the good news first and he say that my Affin Bank car loan with 2.92% interest rate is approved. Then I asked what is the bad news and he say that the bank only approve RM39,000 loan for me and I need to pay extra RM3,000 in order to get the car. I guess this is due to the salary that I received during April, May, June is different from July statement since I go Penang to study SAP course despite my brother had become my guarantor. Anyways, I'm grateful that I had an awesome brother to advice me about this issue. The reason I share this is not because I was "show off" anything, because bank will never lies when come to approve loan as people thought I earn a lot money from blogging. Below is the conversation with my brother and I'm grateful to listen his advice.
Apparently I am taking a big risk on doing Uber driver part time in someway despite SPAD say will catch. On the other hand, when I read back my "No Money Buy Car In Malaysia Story" blog post that written back in 17th January 2013, I admit that I feel a bit sadness about the decision to go to UK to study just to get my degree certification. It is because I ended up paying RM500 UK loan monthly and still paying up to this date as below.
Imagine 14 month x RM500 = RM7,000 that is enough to pay for my car and people just wonder why I didn't even have RM10,000 in my bank as a 25 year old guy. In fact, most of the graduates had went to oversea such as Singapore to earn those SGD instead of staying in Malaysia. As for some employer that I know, they just insulted that fresh graduates demanded too much salary and those people who still stayed in Malaysia is incapable. How would you feel if you're me listening to this kind of statement when you live in Malaysia? No doubt that life is easy for some people in Malaysia and I do felt a bit down when saw someone father posted this status stated that he bought a brand new Myvi for his son who completed his first degree in Law and another RM25,000 as a start of their career in social media as below.
How would you feel if you're me? The only thing that I can say is that I depend my own capabilities to buy car. I couldn't compare with my friends as they come from rich family background. Some even get a car for FREE when they're 18 year old, or brag about their luxury cars. In the end, the moral value of the reason I write this post is always find your family members or close sibling to discuss your problem instead of telling to stranger online. I'm grateful to have a good brother.
At last, I would like to say that life is just like Facebook where people just can like or comment on your status, but no one really can solve your problems as everyone is busying solving their own problem everyday.
