Today is a new day and first day of 1st September 2015. Somehow the first thing I think about upon awaken is how to find more money to cover my new Myvi car's monthly commitment other than my UK loan. During the moment at the train on the way to KL Sentral, strangely I no longer feel sleepy when I think about the "new commitment" that I will face soon. For now, I think I had understand the reason behind why some colleague being frugal saving money partly because they have some commitment need to pay while they saw me being so "rich" can eat those so call "luxury food" in Nu Sentral. I felt that people always see others people being good but they don't know the story behind of other's people facing. Hence, jealousy is generated when they saw other people having the things that they don't have. Eventually the root of all this jealously or being greed started with the main problem which is MONEY!
In fact, money is the thing that make the world goes round although a lot people claim that it is not. Just a simple question, why do you go to work everyday? Is it purely for passion and interest? Feel free to read this "Rethinking Work" article as it create controversial between we work for money and having the opportunity to learn and grow while working. Apparently there is a lot of ways to earn high income as you read my friend experience about working in UK as a waiter having RM7,000+ salary per month but you don't know the story behind as he live in fear of getting caught by UK police. Apparently there is no right or wrong in every decision you make because everyone have their own problem behind. During the afternoon, I went to have my lunch at Mayflower again. Somehow I continue to have some very deep thought about my contribution back to the company as people thought I do nothing.
Frankly speaking, I'm much more worried than anyone because if you join other company as digital marketing, the first question that employer will ask is "What is your contribution that you do in your current company for the past few month?" and I can't say nothing right? On the other hand, I do felt myself seems to be "playing wrong strategy" as I should join a big company using my "degree cert" although it looks worthless for some people and I shall learn as much as possible because not much people willing to teach as you grow older. Furthermore, it is true that everyone start from zero and I guess the reason behind parent send their children to university is to get a better job that can guarantee a better future for their children. However, that is not the case because everything changed so fast in our current generation. The moment you started to become lazy and don't wish to learn, someone out there will outbid you very soon in just a matter of time.
Seriously I'm feeling bad for asking the question about "How much money should a 25 year old person made?" because there is no true answer. As what I know about some of my peers earning, it can go as low as RM1500, RM1800, RM2000, RM2300, RM2500, RM3000, RM3500, RM4000, RM5000 and even RM30000~RM100000 salary as a 25 year old guy. Aferall, we're still measuring our success with Ringgit Malaysia and feel free to read Arielle Zuckerberg's blog as I noticed she is 25 year old same as me but the different is she is Mark's Zuckerberg little sister. Over time, we're trained to become employee and there is no turning back for every decision you made whether you choose the "entrepreneur life" or being a follower. If I can revert back the time, I guess I might choose a big company or having a better job security, getting 3~5 month bonus which can use to buy property, car or do the things that you like aka chasing your "passion" in life.
It is true that there is no FREE lunch in this world, even you say you do it for FREE, it will also cost you TIME in exchange for having good reputation but you might end up very tired as you try to please everyone.
No doubt that everything you do will somehow try to please someone favour using your limited time. During the night, I had a little argument as the salesman didn't promise the commission that he promised to give as he say I demand too much for the car in term of giving me FREE RM300 tinted cash voucher and full tank petrol for the Myvi car as I being "bashed" badly for being conned by the salesman in the forum since I paid a total of RM5,300+ for it. Upon arrived back home, I just feel that everything is about money again as the Streamyx cost RM150 and my personal insurance cost RM160 monthly commitment as you can see money can fly away easily. Later on, I just send mother's a birthday message instead of buying a cake to celebrate as we celebrated yesterday despite today is her official birthday. Sigh.
=(
