The Power Of Social Media Marketing For Mondelez Clearance Sale @ Harbour Place Klang Experience

During the moment when I was researching some social media strategy, my friend suddenly send me a message asked me to buy chocolate as there is promoting happening since I'm from Klang. Hence, I just look through the girl, Ms Liew who shared the Mondelez Clearance Sale at Harbour Place Klang picture on her social media account as below.
At first I the share is about 16,000+ but until I go back home and check again, the number of shares already reach 63,264 shares up to this moment of writing. After that, I repost in my "tester social media account" and saw there is around 100+ shares and as I research deeper later on the night, I saw a lot people posted the traffic jam news while on the way to Klang's Harbour Place as below. I just feel that this is the true example of how online to offline (O2O) marketing works as it drive a lot of "human traffic" to the location.

Can you just imagine 63,264 real people share to 50 people (minimum each Facebook account have 50 friend) is equal to 3,163,200 view the product. In digital marketing, it is all about conversion rate. Assuming 5% of the 3.1 million people buy the chocolate for RM100 average, they would achieve at least RM15,000,000+ sales on that day. 3,163,200 human x 5% conversion = 158160 x RM100 = RM15,816,000 sales in just a day. According to Ms Nadhirah Joohari, she shared that "I lined up at 2pm and managed to get into the warehouse at 6 dan beratur untuk bayar and keluar dari warehouse at 830pm. The crowd is so crazy!  Tapi puas hati borong semua! Ugh yay" in her FB as below.
From this case study, I think Malaysian people really like discounted items very much including myself. On the other hand, I feel it is quite hard to create viral content that can spread until so many people know like this chocolate promotion. Moreover, the power of social media really works in this case. Anyways, below is the details of Mondelez Clearance Sale Jualan Ceria at Harbour Place Klang.
