Today I received an email from Facebook. At first I thought it was my spending on Facebook advertisement as I did spent some money on FB Ads to boost post sometime just to let people knows about my current happening in life. As I look closely into the email, it seems that it is a Facebook Invoice from Facebook Audience Network (FAN) where I seems to earn some advertising revenue when placing FB advertisement code in my blog.
When I download the statement, it shows that I had earned $0.04 USD (RM0.16) for a few weeks duration shown below.
Actually I just want to try out the "Facebook Adsense" thingy since I had been banned by Google Adsense 5 years ago due to fraud clicks. Basically it works the same as Google AdMob and I was surprised that Facebook are willing to share their advertising revenue with Apps/Website publisher.
However, I don't know this Facebook Ad Network income is real until I got the email today as it shown a legit Facebook address below.

How to setup Facebook Audience Network Ads since someone asked me how to do it. If you're searching on "
How to earn money from Facebook" keyword, you might find this is related too. I would like to apologize if you found this article is useless because the advertisement revenue for mobile web monetization is quite little when compared to those IOS/Android ads revenue. First of all, click
Products Tab on the Facebook Developer website or click
https://developers.facebook.com/products/Then click "
Facebook Audience Network" button (Monetization-Grow your revenue with our out-of-the-box monetization solutions) and you will be redirected to
https://developers.facebook.com/products/app-monetization/audience-network/Next, click "
Apply Now" (Start Monetizing Your Property) and you will be redirected to
https://developers.facebook.com/docs/audience-networkClick "
Start Now" and follow the instruction below.
Click "
Create a New App ID", type the information required, tick the check post and click "
Get Started" button.
Then you will directed to the "
Audience Network" tab below.
Add the domain name (www.yourdomainname.com) that you want the ads to be shown to.
Wait few day to get your domain name approval.
After I waited for sometime, I just click "Create Ad Placement" and simply key in.
After I saw the Code being generated, I click "Get HTML" and copy paste the code into the HTML/Javascript Gadgets on blogger layout.
Next, just click "Payout" and select "
Register A New Company" option.
Just feel in all the necessary information as shown below.
As for the bank account details, I use back the SWIFT/BIC code of your local bank. (Refer to "
How To Transfer Money From Paypal to local bank" blog post)
Tick all the necessary information and keep click next until finish.
Next, see your "
Account Information" at the
Payout tab and click Add on Tax Forms.
Download the "
W-8BEN (non-US Individual Taxpayers)" Form since you're not from US and fill up the necessary information below.
After fill up and
upload the file.
Congratulations! Everything is done and just wait.
I had implement it since 16th March 2016 and below is the result after 2 weeks.
It seems that I only manage to earn $0.04 since my blog traffic is low and I'm not sure whether I had install it wrongly
The are two thing to take note is below and I choose
Balance CPM and Fill.
1)
Optimize for CPM = Increase revenue per impression, but receive fewer ads,
2)
Optimize for Fill = Increase the rate at which we return ads
Anyways, you will receive payments around the 21st of each month for the previous month's balance if the total for all your apps is at least $100 USD just like Google Adsense in someway. I don't know when I will get mine unless I create those IOS or Android mobile apps using the
