"US Burger & Fries Fiesta" Have Arrived To Excite KL’s Fast Food Fans In Malaysia

Well, if you have been following my blog for sometime, you will eventually know one of my favourite food is fast food. The reason why I like fast food is because they're fast (obviously) and delicious in their very own way. Recently the U.S. Potato Board has organized their very first "U.S. Fries & Burger Fiesta" from 1st to 31st May 2016. The campaign will have 19 popular burger joints & cafés within the Klang Valley to serve up a unique burger & US fries repertoire that you never seen before.
Do you know that Malaysia is the number one market for U.S. fries in the South-east Asia market and only number 2 to Japan in Asia in terms of per capita consumption. It shows that Malaysian really love their fries and know how to appreciate good fries. There are various of reasons why U.S. produces the best fries is due to the ideal growing temperatures, rich soil, state-of-the-art processing facilities and generations of expertise.
U.S. potatoes is being well known for their high "solids" and low sugar content, where you can see a lot supermarkets sell similar packaging packets in the snacks section. This characteristics is very important to achieve a good finished product with desirable appearance, taste and texture. The U.S. industry standards are demanding as they must meet all Food and Drug Administration and USDA specifications, enabling U.S. processors to create top-quality and safe frozen potato products. Hence, a true "blue burger eater" would tell you that the best essence of eating burger is lies in the fries.
The U.S. Fries & Burger Fiesta objective is to stimulate excitement among the trade to be as creative as they can with creating various burger presentations with U.S. fries combinations. Besides, it would provide an opportunity for the public to try out themselves for different type of U.S. fry varieties especially many of these outlets are offering new cuts of U.S. fries for the first time. U.S. fries promise many advantages including better flavour, taste, texture and distinctly enhance burger servings.

The organizer hope that this Fiesta will provide an eye-opening opportunity to every participating outlets to introduce more than their usual burger and fries fanfare to the public. Moreover, participant will be able to dine at participating restaurants to sample the different U.S. fries and burger combos.

Currently they will be having an Instagram contest where 3 winners weekly with the best pictures of themselves enjoying the promotion US fries and burgers will win RM150 cash prizes weekly. All they have to do is to send their picture via #USFries&BurgerFiesta hashtag.
