After office hour end, I drove to Sunway Pyramid from Asia Jaya. The traffic seems to be quite jammed as the construction still ongoing. Somehow I managed to arrive around the area around 7.35pm. Then I just parked my car nearby and went to meet up with Ms Pamela from Malaysian Foodie at Hana Dining+Sake Bar (花酒蔵) Japanese restaurant. Apparently I do pass by this restaurant last time but I'm on the rush during the past and finally today have the time to visit this restaurant which located at the ground floor.
This Japanese restaurant have 2 section which is the bar and the dining area is located behind the bar.
I likes their interior design and the decoration of the restaurant.
After that, we went to a private room and Mr Eddie Beh start to introduce the concept of his restaurant with their new food menu.
Currently they have a new Classic Tapas combo menu where you can choose 3 item from Items 1 to 5 starting from as low as RM35 for 2 person.
Besides, you can choose their luxury tapas starting from RM30.
As for our starter, we have Hotate Uni Toryufu, Tenshi Ebi and Daikon Foie Gras, Hotate Uni Toryufu.
I still remember the first time I had Foie gras (Goose liver) is at a french restaurant and can say the taste here is better than what I had in Paris back in 2013. Among all the 3 tapas, I like the Hotate Uni Toryufu the most because the scallop is big and it is my first time to try the "Uni" (sea urchin).
Next, we have the Kaisen Shiso Kushi, Gindara Miso Yaki and soft shell crab tapas.
Among this 3 tapas, I like the Gindara Miso Yaki, which is a roasted cod fish very much.
After that, We have the Aburi Anago Maki (RM60) and I guess it is my first time to have it because I heard that the eel is from the sea and not like the common Unagi that we eat at Japanese restaurant.
It is more premium than the Unagi maki and it comes with sea conger eel, salmon belly, avocado and crab. Upon consume it, you will feel like you're in a heaven in someway.
Next, we have the Kani Sashimi Salad (RM28) and the taste is nice especially the crab combine with salmon.
Somehow I just having some "new feeling taste" to try out this new invented Tori Yasai Mushiyaki (RM15) as I would prefer it to be serve in hot than cold.
Then we have the Tempura Mango Cheese Maki (RM40) which consist of mango, tempura prawn, shrimp roe and bonito flake.
The taste is nice and I feel the mango is perfectly combine with the maki.
As for the grilled dish, we have the Negima (RM5), Okra (RM4) and Shitake (RM4).
The taste is natural and they use special machine to grill the dish. After that, we have the Hokkaido Cawan Mushi (RM15) that consists of steamed egg custard with crab, salmon roe, prawn and scallop.
The taste is very fragrance and I heard the chef have added Sake inside.
We also tried the (Gobou Karaage RM10), a deep fried burdock which is known as Japanese roof vegetable.
Finally our meals is completed with Shiro Goma ice cream (RM7) and Matcha ice cream (RM7).
I like the white sesame ice cream than the home made green tea ice cream.
Overall it is a great experience to dine in there and thanks to the Mr Thomas, Hana's Master Chef for preparing this scrumptious meal. Anyways, I learned a new word for today which is Omakase and it means a meal that consists of dishes selected by the chef. The Premium Omakase Course consist of Kobachi, Zensai, Sashimi, Yakimono, Agemono, Nimono and a dessert for RM250 while the nomal Omakase cost for RM150 per person.
Remember to consult their staff for Omakase availability. Below is the details of Hana Dining+Sake Bar (花酒蔵) Japanese Restaurant at Sunway Pyramid shopping mall.

I really like this dish very much because the custard egg is so soft as it feel like melting in your mouth upon consuming it.
The specialty of this restaurant is actually their Garlic Chahan (RM10), which is the Japanese style garlic fried rice. The taste is very fragrance and I heard the chef have added Sake inside.
We also tried the (Gobou Karaage RM10), a deep fried burdock which is known as Japanese roof vegetable.
