Well, I'm sure by now you will get to know about the "
US Burger & Fries Fiesta" event that happening recently if you saw my
previous burger+fries blog post. For this time, I went to Tryst Cafe at SS15 Subang Jaya area.
Upon walked into the cafe, I just felt that it is kinda special about their interior design that use a combination of modern and hip hop style based on my first impression.
Upon seated, we just waited Mr Haikal to arrive. The food that we have for
US Burger & Fries Fiesta is the Pancake Chicken Burger and Cheese Potato Wedges. (Sorry for photo blur)
Pancake Chicken Burger is a homemade pancake with juicy chicken patty, sandwich with coleslaw and served with U.S Potato Wedges while Cheese Potato Wedges is the U.S Potato Wedges Gratin with melt cheddar cheese and mayo.
After Mr Haikal arrived, he shared a lot of drinks, coffee and food knowledge with us. There are a few good local made tea product that he shared which is the
Egyptian Night tea which consists of Egyptian chamomile flowers, Egyptian mint and the
Mango Sunrise, sencha green tea blended with mango sunflowers.
Another local fizzy drinks brand that he intro to us is The tapping tapir and it come in various type of flavour.
My friend say the coffee there is nice.
Personally I had tried the Egyptian Night and Hibiscus Lime drinks and it taste quite nice.
After that, we tried the Pancake Chicken burger and the pancake is really nice when eat with burger.
Somehow we just got to know there is some secret recipe when they make the pancake as it is a bit different on what you eat at outside.
As for the Cheese Potato Wedges, it is nice to eat with the sauce.
I just felt quite full after eating so much potatoes including the fried fries we have.
Furthermore, I just get to know a new serving method of coffee which is the Water Drip Coffee.
The way they prepare it is using the "distillation+filters kind of tools" to get the droplets of coffee which is the essence of a coffee.
It just left some sort of "laboratory feelings" moment when I was having the drip coffee. Overall the experience in there is good. Below is the details of Tryst Cafe at SS15 Subang Jaya.

Not to forget, you can actually have Shisha here after eating for people who have this type of interest.
As for myself, I don't really like Shisha as I'm not a smoker. Anyways, just enjoy life and do anything that make you happy.
