A1 Abalone Noodle (鲍鱼面, 鲍鱼在里面) For RM8+ @ Cooking Experience

Today I don't feel like sharing much things after having some conversation about "something" after office hour end. Upon arrival at home, mother was preparing the "Ba Chang/Zhong Zi" for the upcoming Chinese Dumpling festival 2016. Well, mother didn't really cook for today and I suggested to cook the A1 Abalone Noodle (鲍鱼面) that I bought for RM8+ at the supermarket yesterday.
Upon opening the packaging, you can find 3 things which is the abalone sealed with it's soup, the seasoning packet and the noodle shown below.
I just tear out the packet that contain abalone and pour into a bowl.
Then I heat up the water and pour the seasoning packet and the abalone sauce without the abalone into the boiling water.
It took me about 10+ minutes to cook it since I have add on additional meatball and fishball together with some vegetable.
The abalone seems to be just 2 slice of a full abalone and not really like a whole small abalone stated in the advertisement.
Anyways, the taste of the soup is quite nice as it taste similar with chicken herbal soup.
The sliced abalone taste is actually similar to those canned clam that you bought at supermarket. Overall I think it is quite worth a try for RM8+ if compared with those Korean noodles that cost at least RM12~RM15+ per packet right? Frankly speaking, their advertisement about the Chinese tagline "(鲍鱼面, 鲍鱼在里面)" did trigger me to try it.
In conclusion, I guess it is worth to try once in a life time especially for some poor income people like me who didn't have much opportunity to eat a whole full abalone at restaurant as I recall that I did want to try to eat abalone when I was a student back then. Stay positive!
=)
