Today I'm kinda free since it is a holiday replacement for Wesak Day 2016. Hence, I just took my car to Perodua service center for the 20,000km service maintenance. During the night, I was driving around KL area and somehow recall about a steamboat restaurant recommended by Ms Alicia around C180 Cheras area. Upon arrival, I am lucky to find a parking near to Hotel ibis Styles KL Cheras as below.
Upon walked up to the staircase at of the hotel, you can see colourful fountain around before walking towards the Xing Hotpot & BBQ (興火鍋&燒烤) restaurant below.
There was quite a lot of people at there and I am able to grab a seat. The steamboat restaurant comes with a variety of seafood from crayfish, crabs, tiger prawns, scallops, mussels, bamboo shell, clams, some sort of shell snails and many more.
The unique part of their seafood is they even provide LIVE Prawns shown below.
People is queuing up to "catch the prawn" and cook them alive but I didn't go catch any prawns as it seems like a bit cruel for me.
Noodles and various type of vegetable is available at there.
On the other hand, the restaurant do provide other type of frozen food from meatballs, fishballs, porkballs, squidballs, hotdogs and "satay type" of food to be grilled shown below.
As for the fried stuff such as nuggets, spring rolls, chicken wings, curry clams, and many more.
The dessert include "Tang Yuan", red/green bean soups and "Pao", fruits and ice cream.
One thing that I found special is they provides a lot of different sauce for you to try on from the following.
Different types of drinks such as lemon tea and Chinese tea is also included.
After browsing through the place for some time, I finally sit down and start to have my meal. The soup includes chicken soup and tom yum soup.
Apparently some friends have helped to cook some of the food and I just in charge of eating that time.
Thanks to a girl's blogger helped me to grills some pork slices and fresh oysters at that moment.
Overall it is a great experience and it cost only RM45++nett per pax and the time is UNLIMITED. Below is the details of Xing Hotpot & BBQ (興火鍋&燒烤) restaurant at C180 Cheras area.

It would be great place to hang out on weekends especially if you bring your girlfriend along.
