Today I'm grateful to have another food review opportunity invitation by Ms Maple to "That Comma Café (逗号咖啡馆) at Setia Alam, Shah Alam Klang area. Apparently I just went to Setia Alam Pasar Malam yesterday and I can sense the food there must be great. Around 10.45pm I make a move from my house to the venue as it is not far from my house which will took around 15 minute according to Waze.
Upon arrival at Setia Alam area and parked the car, I found the cafe and took some picture and just realized it is at 2nd floor.
After meet up with Ms Sharon and other few blogger, I took some picture around the That Comma Café. Well, it left me a peaceful and soothing feelings when I saw the interior design.
I liked the food picture posted in the wall.
Suddenly I saw a small little "creature", Mr Elmo and he looks "lonely" there sitting alone there.
The cafe is well decorated with soft toys and it is great gathering / hangout place with friends to play cardboard game available at there.
Somehow I just noticed the Saboteur Dwarf mining card game is available there as a minion just sitting the on top the game.
This Saboteur game really left me a lot of memories because I played it since college if you ever read my
"Saboteur Card Game - Dwarf Mining" blog post written 5 years ago. However, this game is Saboteur 2 which is an upgraded version of the previous Saboteur that I shared last time.
Upon seated, I flip through the beverage & food menu and it is nicely designed.
Moreover, I like the fast FREE internet speed provided there as in 10 Mbps from my phone screen shot below.
We're being served with a cup of
mint latte coffee.
(Price : RM9~RM10)Somehow the love shape of the latte reminds me about the
"Deng Yi Ge Ren Ka Fei" (等一個人咖啡), waiting a person's coffee movie.
After that, we're being served with
Four Season drinks (spring春，summer夏，autumn秋，winter冬) and looks interesting with different colour.
Gem Mint represents
Spring and the specialty is on top of the drink, there is a little sugar and salt added which represent crystal.

Autumn and lemon is added inside.

Winter and consist of blended banana and vanilla flavour.
(Price: RM13)I tried 4 type of drink and liked the Lemon Glade most, followed by Gem Mint, then Sparking Mint Citrus and finally Tropical Banana drink.
The first meal that we review is Pizza 9'inch which is
Hawaiian Chicken (RM18.50) and
Comma Canadian (RM15.90) Pizza.
Hawaiian chicken pizza is made up from chicken, tomato, cheese from Australia and the dough is ready made.
Comma Canadian pizza is made up from pork / bacon, olive oil and some secret ingredient.
I like the taste of Hawaiian chicken pizza as it is tasty for my experience and the thin dough which enable me to eat more as I treat it as my appetizer dish.
The next dish that we taste is
Grilled Chicken with tomato puree based rice (RM19.50).
The taste of the tomato rice is not really nice for me but I just get to know that you need to stir the tomato rice with the grilled chicken cheese together when eating instead of separating both. Next, we're being served with
Signature Breakfast (RM27.50) and
Carbonara with pork bacon, sauteed mushrooms and herbs (RM16.50).
The signature breakfast consists of pork sausage, bacons, beans, salad, has brown, omelet egg and bread.
I like the bacaon and pork sausage very much.
As the Carbonara is their signature dish, they made their own secret recipe carbonara sauce and the taste is perfect when eating together with bacon bits.
Another similar spaghetti dish that being served is
pork bacon Aglio E-Olio (RM16.50) and I was told that there is Olio ginger flower added in.
The taste of this dish is quite spicy for me and I would prefer the Carbonara dish.
Finally the main dish for today which is pork platter is being served to us.
It consists of German's knuckle, pork sausage, pork ribs, pork meatball, onion rings, vegetable, sweet potato, mashed potato, the special sauce, bread and mainly focus on pork dish.
I like the pork meatball very much and the grilled pork.
As for our dessert, we're being served with
Strawberry Parfait (RM16.90) and
Coffee Parfait (RM13.90).
I liked the Strawberry Parfait than Coffee Parfait dessert.
At last, here comes the
signature brownies (RM19.90) dessert.
It consists of hot chocolate, brownies, ice cream, chocolate powder and some secret recipe.
I had recorder the moment when the hot chocolate being poured into the top as below.
The taste is really awesome and couldn't describe in words as you must try it yourself to know.
It would be my 2nd time trying this type of brownies from my previous
MAD About Coco review. So here is all the food review that we have in That Comma Café (逗号咖啡馆) Setia Alam. After that, we have a short interview with the cafe's owner. This cafe is operated by 3 owner which is Mr Kevin, Mr Scott and Ms Vivian as partner. Both of the 3 owner is came from designer background. We just get to know that this cafe is their 3rd time of renovation and it had been operate since 29th June 2014 as their grand opening day.
If you look closely the logo above the Comma Café word, the logo is actually consists of different type of coffee powder like sand art. Each of the food is specially invented by the chef and staff. I can sense a great innovation / entrepreneur spirits happening in the cafe. Mr Scott shared that they actually tried a lot of trial and error moment when creating the dish and keep improve their dish. For instance, they trying to add this guava salt into the pork dish to balance the taste for customer.
As we interview further, he shared that one of the dish that suit local customer taste is the Signature Crazy Banana (RM16.90) dish and we get to try it.
The taste of this dish is nice because it is a combination of kaya and banana.
Somehow I just get to know the coffee decoration for the dessert ice cream is actually a real coffee instead of fake one as decoration.

Frankly speaking, this cafe does leave me some personal feelings when it's about coffee as I will recall about a person. Besides, I like the environment of the cafe as they played some sentimental music there. Before I end my blog post, I would like to share "She Will Be Loved" song by Maroon 5 played in that Comma Café (逗号咖啡馆) before I was on my way to leave there.
I likes the lyrics of this that say's "I don't mind spending every day, out on your corner in the pouring rain. Look for the girl with the broken smile, ask her if she wants to stay awhile, and she will be loved" from the song. Indeed this the theme of this cafe really suite their name which is Comma Cafe where the founder hope customer will stay longer in this cafe which is a great place to hangout with friends.
