Life After Graduation Is All About Earning Money And Business In Malaysia Experience

After office hour, I had an appointment with one of my old friend that I know few years ago. Well, we will be meeting up in Sakae Sushi Nu Sentral and luckily she queue up first where there is a lot of people at most of the restaurant since it is "buka puasa" open fasting time. We ordered some food while continue to chat as below.
Well, we do chat about the past story during the moment in college and she shared her experience on working corporate and left after that to work full time at insurance agency. Our conversation last for 2 hour and I just felt it is important to manage finance. The sentences that I will never forget from her is "everything is about business and transaction" after we graduates. Frankly speaking, I'm not sure why life after graduation is all about earning money and business. Suddenly I wonder just whether you would tell your child that "Son, the reason you are being born here is just to make money to survive" if you become a parents one day. At the end of the conversation, she try to sell me the RM10,000+ plan but I only afford to go for the RM5280 Great Eastern saving plan by paying monthly installment as below.
However, I told her that I need to research first and will reply her soon because this amount of money is quite a lot to me despite I'm already 25 years old guy since most of my circle of friend already earning RM4,000+ salary range and above. Through her sharing, I know she had been gone through a lot of personal development this few years since the last time I meet her is at 22nd March 2012 when I search back my old blog post. Guess what? I did spend the same 2 hour conversation with her back in 3 years ago and it seems like only myself store most of my life story in my blog. At this moment of writing, I think I just miss my honeymoon study life very much as I don't really need to worry so much when compared to working life again.

Apparently it does link me to read back one of the 2013 blog post that related to this kind and my memory didn't really able to recall much after January 2014 incident at this moment of writing. For now, it is all bout what I really want to be in life and I guess everyone will sure complain or gossip about working stuff, just that they didn't voice out only. Moreover, the only way to earn more money is by doing sales. Besides, do you agree that most of the successful, rich boss, high profile people don't play Facebook? During the moment going back to home, I did think a lot about today's happening and reflect about myself again. When I meet my father, I shared to him the whole incident. My father keep sharing me a lot of positive energy because my weakness is lack of confidence from the way I speak in a soft tone. He said that most of the boss will really have a high voice and strong confidence tone in order to be successful. Moreover, I shall be grateful about my since I have the chance to go UK to get my degree and study SAP although a lot people are having Master certificate at this generation. Anyways, I just told myself to stay positive to overcome the future obstacles.

At last, today is Charlie Chaplin's 125th birthday and it is a good day to recollect his 3 heart-touching statements:-

After finish packing my stuff, I suggested my brother to try out the old man Siam Road charcoal Char Kway Teow instead of the two sister CKT at Lorong Selamat. Upon arrival at 2.55pm, we saw the old man pushing his stall toward the corner and a lot people rushing in for order as below.
After that, most of them went in to the Kedai Kopi Hock Ban Hin to wait as below.
Seriously there are too many people although I come at 3pm sharp. Somehow I just took some picture about how he cooks the CKT as below.
Below picture is the first plate cooked by the old man.
Well, my brother waited at the stall with his girlfriend for almost an hour although we arrived early and ask for "tapao" take away. The charcoal CKT cost for RM5+ but it is treated by my brother and I ate inside the car as below.

Well, this is a short post where I packing all Penang stuff back to Klang within one day experience. Frankly speaking, the time flies very fast for the 2 month+ duration of my SAP course at Penang. I remember I back to KL at 24th June and today I'm going back take all stuff back to hometown. On the other hand, I was struggling on some decision whether want to venture SAP or e-commerce. Anyways, we have our breakfast at Yik Heong BKT before depart to Penang and below is some picture taken there and sorry for not having much details since I'm having limited time.
Upon awaken around 12.20pm, it seems that there is 1 more hour to go to reach Penang as below.
Upon arrived my house, I quickly pack all stuff and taken 1 and half hour as below.
Around 2.30pm I make a move from there and went to meet my house owner as below.
Well, he refuses to pay me back the RM18 for the keychain that I paid previously and say that either I take it back myself and give back him one of the key as there is 3 key total. After I give him one key, I decided to give him another 2 more key since I no longer use as below.
Apparently I still can live until 18th July but I already give him all the key and packed all my stuff. Actually I wanted to get half of the RM280 rental since today is just 4th July as the rental period is from 18th June to 18th July for this month. After that, I took my brother to try out the Old Man's CKT at Jalan Siam. Then we went to Penang Road Famous Teochew Chendul for the cendol as below.
The next destination after that is George Town World Heritage Site Celebration when we saw there is road block in the town. Then we went to Gurney Drive as I wanted to buy the Ban Heang biscuit to bring back KL as below.
Well, there is quite a lot of people are queuing up at the Honey Creme Gurney Plaza but I didn't buy anything as below.
Besides, my favourite rojak stall didn't open today at Gurney Drive (新关仔角小贩中心) as below. (They open their stall at 9pm until midnight)
Later on the night, we went to have our dinner at Old Green House and below is all the food that we ordered including the Beng Kee Claypot Bah Kut Teh (明记砂煲肉骨茶).
Around 7.30pm we make a move to go back home as below.
The toll fare cost about RM45.30 to go back Klang from Penang and I arrived home around 11.20pm as below.
Besides, I am thankful to my brother for fetching me go and back Penang to bring all stuff back home although the toll and fuel price total cost RM220 just to take my stuff back home as below.
Suddenly I keep think about job and working related stuff again upon arrived home as time not enough.

How Are You Doing Recently, My E-Commerce And Marketing Classmate In Malaysia

Today I woke up at 10.20am. It was great that I'm able to sleep until automatically wake up and I'm truly grateful to be stay alive until this moment. Somehow I just had some dream and did make me recall back some memories. After taken my lunch, I still finding some answer related to my work. On the other hand, I was curious about all my E-Commerce And Marketing classmate in Malaysia as I wondering how are you doing recently? Frankly speaking, our certification seems to be known as not really useful especially if you're a business study graduates. It is because I felt that every business's First Objective is to make profit and most of the business graduates will end up doing sales. As what I know, most of my e-commerce and marketing friend are working in the sales line although not much focus in online/digital/social media marketing. In fact, our website background is just a basic one and it all depends on the individual to learn those website development skills by themselves.

Furthermore, I guess all those online marketing skills need to self learn and this could be the reason why we're not much different with diploma or spm holder who can learn all this by themself without need to go to college to study. One of my classmate who work in "LaXada" told me that she need to learn all the skills by herself without having much guidance under "Xocket" Internet management. Other than that, there is a few is doing own business or inherit with parent's family business. For now, I still lack on some confidence in content marketing partly because of my English is not strong and my content looks like a 10 years old student writing, yet I "pushed" myself to work back in the e-commerce field due to "Trust" (信用) with the boss and in charge on marketing plan as below.
However, I did face some difficulties to work all this stuff alone. I keep thinking on how to create value for organization and try not to offend people.

Moreover, my blogging identity have been exposed in someway and I tried to stay positive to encounter my working days. Anyways, I am grateful to have "built" a SAP certificate as my backup if I didn't do well in the e-commerce field. In addition, I think it is all about how you can contribute to the company before leaving in order to have a nice resume in the corporate work. As for website related information, I guess it is all about clicks and conversion after you get those website traffic on the corporate website as below.
Over time, my knowledge is mostly learn from Google search and read on some meaningful article like "The Dark Side of Leading a Startup" or other great content. Later on the night, I just have some simple dinner and did miss my Penang lifestyle as I already make the decision to pack all stuff back to my Klang house.

Recently there is a lot of people showing off on how they make tons of money online and I was curious to ask about it. Then I get to know that it was actually something related to top up prepaid from Tune Excel / Celcom sort of stuff as they claim can make RM10,000+ by introducing a lot people sign under them. I know this few years ago but didn't do it. Do you agree that our life after graduation is all about earning money or doing business to make profit? As for those love story or relationship, it will be only appear if I am successful in my career. Moreover, there will be stress no matter what job you do either on the support or sales line as I have experience it myself in someway. In the end, the answer is very clear which is to find a way to survive as it is either you live to eat, or eat to live in this society if you're not born from well off family background.

Somehow I was quite shock to see the news stated that there is a guy willing to spend RM17,000+ (RM17K) just to take picture with DJ Soda as below.
Guess this is all about wiling buyer wiling seller. In fact, I wonder whether the guy earn the money by himself or some rich parent's son. (Maybe I'm jelly, LOL) No doubt DJ soda is quite cute and beautiful as you can see some of the picture below.
Feel free to have a look DJ Soda at Zouk KL Malaysia as below.

Almost Lost My iPhone 3GS Feelings @ KL Sentral Experience

Upon awaken, I did have another weird dream again just like yesterday but this is is related to salmon fish and I lost a diamond ring inside the river. Suddenly I just noticed that my iPhone 3GS is not in my pocket when I arrived KL Sentral after taking 1 hour train. Well, I try to call back my phone with another phone I had and it does ringing but it is not around the seat. Anyways, I just walked to the office while having some worry feelings. These days I don't feel like talking much about my job related stuff although it is the 4th day of working when I back at 1st July. Besides, COO just noticed that I am back to the office today. During the afternoon, I just have Peter's Pork noodle at Mayflower restaurant and I wonder whether the price had increased due to inflation or what since it cost RM7 for that bowl as below.
Well, the taste just so so only and the feelings is different from last time.

After that, I walk around Nu Sentral and saw the exchange rate for Malaysian Ringgit to $1 USD currency is RM3.80 as below.
Upon back office, I continue to do my research. When I meet my father again, I quickly check the car whether I had left my iPhone 3GS at there but I couldn't find it. Besides, I do share some of my feelings with him and he say I should have train my EQ in order to survive in the working environment. Besides, I just got to know that my father's salary is around RM450~RM700 back in 25 years ago working in Roxy manufacturing shop and I wonder how he can survive back then. Anyways, I told myself that I shall be grateful about what I have at this moment of writing. Upon arrived home, I quickly go upstairs to search for my phone and luckily my iPhone 3GS is located on the table.

Later on the night, I just have a bar of Ritter Sports whole hazelnuts chocolate as my supper to release some stress as below.
Besides, feel free to key in MYUBERMORNING to enjoy RM20 worth of free rides between 6.30am ~ 9.30am if you're an existing Uber user and key in uberfood88 if you're a new user as below.
Before I end my post, do you agree that the cycle of poverty is lack of education as below?
Somehow it is quite ridiculous to know a guy can spend RM17K on taking picture with DJ Soda. (Maybe I'm jelly? =.=) Overall I'm thankful to stay alive for this day and grateful about what I have.

Self Reflection After Having RM100,000+ Worth Of Education @ E-commerce And Marketing (電子商務與行銷學) Graduates Experience

$
0
0
During the morning, I continue my research on those e-commerce platform. Apparently I did research each of the startup company from Producky website yesterday whether there is a potential to have some collaboration with them for the payment services since most of them is startup. Well, this is the 5th day working here and it is all by my own in someway and I did have some thought as I pass by the UMW building as below.
Anyways, I just have my lunch at Mayflower Brickfields again and just have some moody feeling while eating the noodles as below.
Somehow I manage to submit the marketing plan to my boss before going back home with my limited knowledge since I had left this field for 1 and half years ago. Besides, I do get some great advice from other colleague before going back home related to future career.

Around 8pm I arrived the train station and father picked me up. Well, he fetched one of his friend back home and I heard he have 7 children, some working in Singapore but I don't really understand much since they speaks Hokkien language although I wish I could understand it one day. Frankly speaking, sometime I did felt a little uneasy as a 25 year old guy who still need to depend on my father to fetch me work everyday. In fact "self reflect" (反醒) about myself after having RM100,000+ worth of education as an E-commerce and Marketing graduates.
Below is some cert that I have throughout my entire study life which cost up to RM100K
___________________________________________
1) Diploma In Business Studies (E-commerce and Marketing) with Merit (商科文凭:電子商務與行銷學) / Diploma Pengajian Perniagaan (E-Perdagangan dan Pemasaran) from Tarc College. [Known as TARUC now] (Cost: RM10,000+)
2) Advance Diploma In Business Studies (E-commerce and Marketing) (商科高级文凭:電子商務與行銷學) / Diploma Lanjutan Pengajian Perniagaan (E-Perdagangan dan pemasaran) from Tarc College. [Known as TARUC now] (Cost: RM15,000+)
3) Bachelor of Arts Business with E-commerce and Marketing from SHU. (RM35,000+)
4) Super Intensive English Programme from Stafford House School of English. (£2,000+ Around RM10,000+) but sponsored.
5) TERP10 SAP ERP from PSDC, (RM18,200 ~ RM21,200) but sponsored.
___________________________________________
So if you add up all figure above, it would cost about RM100,000+ after adding up the food and accommodation in both Malaysia and London. Well, I guess I'm the only one who blogged so much about my study life experience as I doubt not much people will share the info. For now, it is all about how I can plan for my future whether on how to achieve RM10,000+ figures salary before I reach the age of 30. No doubt that one of the way is working as SAP Consultant / SAP Project Manager as I saw the offer as below.
However, I still not sure about the reality of the industry since I'm still on the e-commerce field at this moment but I'm sure I will find out one day. As for e-commerce graduates, I guess some would like to join Google company as their final goal as you can see "How Big Is Google" video as below.
Have you ever felt that somehow education seems to be not really worth in someway? As for now, I felt that content marketing require a lot of training and I might not manage to create viral content due to my current "broken" English level. The minor things I can do for now is write some review for some e-commerce website like the recent Shopback MY review. At last, any blogger friend here would like to join "buka puasa event at Holiday Inn KL Glenmarie on 8th July 2015" for a night of delicious dinner, connecting with fellow bloggers, and best dressed contest, please RSVP for this FREE event at http://bit.ly/OMAniteJuly today!

Unhappy With RM88 U-Mobile Broadband Subscription Packages @ U-Mobile Berjaya Times Square Experience

After office hour, I took the train to Imbi station from Nu Sentral monorail as below.
It is because I need to settle the RM88 U-Mobile Broadband subscription packages that I no longer need after used it for almost 3 month. Upon arrival, I just took a number and waited for about 20 minute to reach my turn as below.
Somehow I did remember when I sign up U mobile plan 3 month ago at Penang cost RM159 and I had paid RM77 at Gurney Plaza. When I want to close my account, he say that I had overdue 2 month, hence I pay RM131+ first since I got use the boost plan last month as below.
However, he told me that if want to close account need settle another RM151+ for this month and pay another RM88 in advance to close my account next month account. Seriously next time need see terms and conditions properly before sign up any plan because I felt myself got "cheated" in someway as I need to pay RM606 just for using 3 month with U mobile broadband? Really feel unhappy about this issue and hope can resolve it very soon without paying so much money, it is all about money problem again, sigh.

After office hour end, I took the Nu Sentral's monorail train to Imbi to go to Times Square to settle my U-Mobile broadband that I subscribe 3 month ago. Somehow I did feel unhappy about the bill settlement and will find out later. After that, I walked to Pavilion Kuala Lumpur shopping mall to meet up with a friend and I took some picture as below.
Around 7.50pm my friend arrived and we head to the Din Tai Fung (鼎泰豐) Pavilion Kuala Lumpur at 6th floor and I continue to take some picture about the interior as below.
Well, I flip through the menu and there is a Prestige set menu (人气套餐) available as below.
Hence, we tried it and the menu had changed a bit as there's a friend who is a vegetarian. Besides, I like the menu showing the guide to enjoy eating the Xiao Long Bao as below.
There is just 4 steps to enjoy the Xiao Long Bao.

First of all, pour vinegar and soy sauce into the ginger dish, dip the crab roe and pork Xiao Long Bao in the sauce with broth and some ginger as below.
Their Xiao Long Bao is special because it is a delicate hand pleated with 18 exquisite folds and prepared fresh using the finest ingredients. Besides, the two type of appetizer dish is quite nice but I prefer the spicy pickled cucumber more than the other one as below.
The next dish is steamed shrimp and pork dumpling and the I felt the taste is a bit similar to Xiao Long Bao as below.
Then we continue have the house steamed chicken soup and I like the soup as below.
Well, our vegetarian friend is having the vegetarian minced pork in bean sauce noodle as below.
As for meat eater like me, we have the fragrant spring onion and shredded pork noodle as below.
The noodle is nice when eating together with the pork chop as below.
After that, we're having the shrimp fried rice and vegetarian minced pork in bean sauce as below.
We didn't try the prawn with salted egg as it had replaced with vegetable dish as below.
At last, we're having different type of dessert as  in red bean and soya "Tang Yuan" as below.
Moreover, I really like the steamed chocolate red bean dumpling as it had melted inside my mouth upon eating as below.
The last dessert we have is the peanut "mochi" and some sort of cincau red bean dessert as below.
Overall I really enjoy eating the meal and grateful about the life I have today. Feel free to try out their Prestige Set Menu (人气套餐) that cost for RM308 as below.
Below is the details of Din Tai Fung (鼎泰豐) Pavilion Kuala Lumpur.

Around 10pm I requested Uber rides to fetch a friend back to Subang. Somehow I just felt a bit unhappy when Uber deducted my hard earned Uber credit instead of deducting the RM40 promo code I have as below. (Feel free to use my uberfood88 code to get FREE RM40 worth if you're first time user)
The actual fare cost for RM25.76 but need to add another RM12.88 for surge x1.5 price which end up RM38.64 for the final fare. Anyways, it is still consider cheap to travel such a long distance with Uber as the trip time took about 40+ minute especially the traffic is very jam at Pavilion KL.

Self Research And Trying Hard To Create Value For Company Experience

$

Today I woke up at 6.35am. Somehow my body seems to be still same like last time that I'm able to wake up automatically after slept for 1 hour inside the train from Klang to KL Sentral. Well, this is my 6th day of working after I start to work back at 1st July. Upon arrived office, I continue to do my research and digesting all the social media information in order to create the effective marketing strategy to increase brand awareness. Frankly speaking, there is no one guide me as I need to create job task for myself and study the necessary knowledge on my own. Over time, I keep telling myself don't care so much what others people think about me as I looks like creating no value as I'm wasting time to “work” until now. In fact, I just flip through the book I bring along and remember the positive work attitude and class that I learn from the tutor during my stay in Penang. Seriously I need to keep change my thought to a positive thought in any event of situation.

Moreover, having a positive mindset that does not dwell on negative thinking and treat failures as lessons is a very important lesson that I need to implement in my life at this moment. I tried not to make a fool myself as a person who have degree in e-commerce and marketing. As Lao Tzu said, mastering others is strength, mastering yourself is power. Sometimes we are given tasks or doing things that we might not like, but it depends on the choice we have on how we do our work or job task. In fact, you need to manage yourself wisely and think about the bigger picture that you can create since everyone have a limited 24 hours every day. During the afternoon, I have my lunch at Mayflowers Brickfields again. Well, I heard a lot of others people’s company politics and gossips around especially when I am eating alone. Upon walking back office, I stumble upon CTO and asked him whether it is necessary to create social media for our company.

His reply is very positive and I guess this is all about how yourself perceive the value for something. Moreover, I start to feel it is true that every company need people who have the “Can Do” attitude instead of people who lack of confidence and don’t trust their own capabilities. To be frank, I did not mean to offend any colleague as being perceived as “sombong” (mean) when I didn’t speak anything throughout the day. In fact, I do know that a marketing person need to be a very cheerful and talkative person if you’re in the business line. During the evening, I heard their's an 50% promotion from 11street and bought a 16GB SD card. After office hour, I walk to Nu Sentral to take the monorail to Imbi station in order to go Berjaya Times Square to settle my U-Mobile related issue. Somehow I did felt unhappy with U-Mobile when I did not have much money after I get to know I need to pay about RM606+ for the 3 month RM88 U-Mobile broadband usage.

In fact, everything is a cost during the moment you step out from your house. For instance, I did count my daily cost which start from RM3.60 go to KL Sentral, food cost around RM5~RM10 and going back home at least cost RM3.60 which total up to RM20 per day after adding father’s car petrol cost. During the night, I meet up with a friend at Pavilion shopping mall as below.
Then we tried the Prestige Set Menu (人气套餐) at Din Tai Fung (鼎泰豐) Pavilion and truly enjoy the experience there. It is not only the food but the people I met at there and it is true that there is a difficulty in every job we work when I heard the girl sharing as she work in Zouk before. As a marketer, I truly understand we need to have a lot of positive energy to overcome our days especially for a 25 year old guy like me who need to plan my own future ahead as a human. Around 10pm I requested Uber and sent a friend to Subang area before I go back home.

Somehow the Uber driver did share a lot of his life experience with me when I ask about it. He told me that he worked as a taxi driver previously and the income is not as much working full time as Uber driver. As I mention before, a part time Uber driver can earn up to RM500 per week and RM2,000 a month to cover their petrol cost. I believe everyone is working very hard when they see our economy is not really doing well especially there is a lot of news about the 1MDB case and corruption. Anyways, the total Uber fare cost for RM27.34 from Subang to my home as below. (Feel free to use my uberfood88 code to get FREE RM40 worth of first rides)
Upon arrived home at 11.45pm, I did think a lot about my career again. I found the reason of being moody is partly because of not having much “new content” after I back to my working life. Moreover, I didn't interact much with people and I know I must have a change.

As for social media, I’m not sure whether it can be a solid “metal bowl rice” (铁饭碗) in my career path since the job scope of social media is similar in every company such as D'nonce Technology Bhd job offers in Penang as below.

Your job scope will be as following but not limited to:
- Manage our online marketing sites: - Alibaba.com, Facebook, existing website
- Manage the Facebook for the Brand of products
- Explore the possibility of advertising and marketing in other sites such as Lelong.com, amazon.com, 11 street, delivereat, food panda, etc
- Create and manage the blog for the Brand, identify potential Brand ambassadors and encourage them to contribute to the blog
- Develop online promotional materials / pages for the Brand

However, I had rejected the Penang job offer after I had back to the “eye” company. On the other hand, I need to find a reliable way to earn extra money to cover my “eating expenses” and I believe it would be a dream for every blogger to travel around the world while earning income without worrying about the expenses. One of the way that I can think that I could travel and earn a lot of money is by venturing into the SAP field that I recently get certified. At last, do you agree that you don’t need to work longer or push yourself harder as you just need to work smarter?

Parents Transfering Their Wealth To Rich Second Generation (富二代) In Malaysia

During the night, I saw one of my ex-ex company's director birthday. Well, I was curious about how the company is performing recently and I did some Googling around. It seems that he just appointed his 24 year old son as the new executive director. So this is just a short story about the process of rich people transfer their wealth to their children. In fact, do you agree that rich people can have a higher quality of education as I saw his son is graduated from Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology (RMIT) University. Frankly speaking, do you think is it possible to become executive director at the age of 24, drive Bentley car and live in a big bungalow house? Anyways, it is just a life cycle where you can easily see a lot of parents transferring their wealth to their next generation. It is totally depend on the individual whether they will end up being rich second generation (富二代) or a useful person who will contribute back to the society.

As for normal people like myself, I learn in the hard way on how to find those wealth although everyone is different as we born from different family background. Later on the night, a friend just told me to stop blogging if it doesn't make money. Seriously he is right too especially when he say "don't waste your time on small buck since we're not young" anymore. Looks like life after graduation is really all about earning money? Self research is tiring and I wish I can find the short cut to success. Anyways, feel free to have a look the poor mentality versus rich mentality adapted from Funders and Founders website as below.
In the end, only yourself can in charge on your own future and I felt that I had used way too much money on education. Anyways, no use being a whiner and treat every failure as lesson. As Thomas Edition said, I have not failed. I've just found 10,000 ways that won't work.
Stay positive!
