After office hour end, I took the LRT to KL Sentral and changed the monorail to Bukit Bintang. It is because I need to collect something from Plaza Sungei Wang. Somehow the weather is raining heavily and I decided to take Uber to Xiang Man Qing Restaurant (湘满情湘川菜馆) to meet up with new friends at Fraser Business Park area. I heard the restaurant provide Authentic Hunan, Si Chuan cuisine. It took me some time to find the location as the first location provided is not accurate. Luckily Ms Alicia Whatsapp me the exact location and I manage to find it as below.
Upon arrival, the interior design of the restaurant is decorated with Red theme which is the colour that Chinese people like to use during Chinese New Year.
After that, the waiter start to serve the food to our table by the following orders as shown below.
1) Golden Corn (RM19)
2) Pork on the hanger (RM32)
3) Hot and Spicy Baby Lobster (RM69)
4) Steamed scallops with vermicelli (RM39)
5) Boiled fish with pickled cabbage (RM49)
6) Spicy Chicken Cube (RM35)
7) Garlic Fried Ribs (RM49)
8) Stone Pot Frog (RM39)
9) Century egg with Chili (RM19)
10) Spicy Skewer prawn (RM49)
11) Mix vegetable.
12) Pumpkin Bread (RM19)
13) Mix local fruits (FREE)
Personally I like the pork on the hanger when it you dip it with their special sauce. The hot & spicy baby lobster is not bad as you will feel some "Ma La" (麻辣), super spicy taste which can numb your mouth upon eating. The fish is nice when you pour the soup together with the rice. However, I'm not really used to the "Frog dish" (seriously) as I didn't really like to eat frog at the first place. Besides, I do have some "Qing Dao" beer which I guess it must be one of the culture to eat Hunan food with alcohol drink. Overall I enjoyed my eating experience at there.
